Inner City Impact

Inner City Impact (ICI) works with children and teens in neighborhoods where the challenges of daily life severely affect their ability to pursue healthy and happy childhoods. For over 50 years, ICI has developed programs where kids can feel safe, be engaged in wholesome activities, build healthy relationships, expand their self-worth and develop the life skills they need to move confidently toward a better future.

Programs include leadership development, sports leagues, camping trips and after-school clubs. The mission of ICI is to present the living Christ, primarily to unchurched, inner-city children and youth; to disciple them and integrate them into a local church.

Prayer Requests

  • For ICI to be able to step in and be Christ to families that are struggling (spiritually, mentally, financially, and physically).
  • For the staffing of summer programs; the volunteers needed for day camp and camping programs to operate and be effective.
  • For the safety of staff and the families ICI ministers to. In the communities they serve, the staff are sometimes at risk of violence.
  • For financial resources for ICI and missionary staff.
  • For the kids who are believers to grow in their faith and not be "choked out" by all the things that their families are dealing with.
